Default CUEAC - issues with call transfer, park and hold

    Hi

I have upgraded from CUEAC version 3.1.1.8 to version 8.5.1.5 integrated with CUCM version 7.1.5 cluster

Problem when I park a call, calls parks then disconnects within 2 seconds. When a put a call on hold call goes on hold then disconnects, when I try to transfer a call after a few seconds call disconnects.

Each time the caller hears fast busy after the call disconnects.

I have CUEAC 8.5.1.5 integrated with another CUCM cluster which has been working fine. Only difference is that this cluster is ruuning version 8.0.2.

Does anybody have any ideas on why I am having this issue?

I would really appreciate a reponse today as I'm testing upgrade with client tommorow!

    Thanks

    Hi,

Was CUEAC 3.1.1.8 integrate with a different CUCM cluster originally? If you have moved it to this cluster did you upgrade the Cisco TSP on the CUEAC Server?

    Hi

Thank you for your quick response.

I rebooted the AC server; re-created a Test number. I am able to get calls through and transfer calls. Problem now is all of the call park devices are black (none of them green). If I try to park a call or put it on hold I get 'There are no service queues available'.

The original implementation was bodged by another Company. I'm finding lots of issues with the way the the system has been configured.

I'm going to create a new template for CTI ports, rename the current ac user, then create another one with the previous name...etc.

    Any suggestions are most welcome.

    Thank you

The Call Park devices are black in the "normal" state, they only turn green once they are in use.

It sounds like there maybe an issue with CSS or Codec's on the setup, I would recommend just building from scratch and it sounds like you are already going to do this.

In case anybody comes across a similar issue, here are the details of how this particular issue got resolved....

After checking CSS and codec/regions settings thoroughly I raised a TAC case.

BDE - third party database utility was installed (don't know why). The TAC Engineer

    - Found several SQL read error in the Event Viewer and BDE Utility software on the CUEAC server

He managed to fix this issue which in turn resolved the issue
